Black & Grey tattoos: realistic style using only black ink & water for shading, creating 3D effects. Detailed visuals & a sophisticated vibe without colors.
Cover-ups demand skilled artists. New design over healed tattoos. Color, line, size, & placement matter. Blackwork & watercolor are incompatible; experience is crucial.
Color tattoos use vibrant colors for striking designs. Featuring fewer outlines and softer lines, they often employ the Free Hand technique (drawing directly on skin).
Markito was always passionate about art, inspired by his father, a visual artist. Despite his talent for drawing, he wasn’t sure which path to follow. During his time in the army, he discovered tattooing when a colleague, Josenei, tattooed him with a homemade machine. Fascinated by the process, Markito decided to try it himself and tattooed his first client. In the interior of Amazonas, without internet and with limited resources, Markito dedicated himself to learning and searching for professional materials. His search led him to Manaus, where, already out of the army, he joined a famous studio as an apprentice and was mentored by Tyes Marinho. With Tyes, he learned both the techniques and the professionalism of tattooing. Over time, Markito opened his own studio and became prominent in the city. His talent and dedication took him to international conventions, including Amsterdam, which further expanded his artistic vision. Since then, Markito has participated in events throughout Brazil, Europe, and the USA. Today, with 22 years of experience, he lives in Florida, carrying on his art and experience.
Outside the studios, Markito explores various passions that enrich his worldview. As a skydiver and black belt in Jiu-Jitsu, he finds balance between mind and body in sports. Fascinated by history and geopolitics, he is always seeking to better understand the world around him. In music, heavy metal will always have a special place in his heart, but he equally values Brazilian and Amazonian culture, exploring various styles and remaining faithful to his cultural roots. For Markito, each interest is a piece that completes his personal and professional journey.
